Gerald Gentile serves as Vice President of Information Technology at Deshler Group, bringing a wealth of experience and strategic vision to the role. He is the former President of Automated Media, Inc. (AMI), a distinguished IT firm he founded in 1989, renowned for its cutting-edge solutions and industry impact.

With a career spanning nearly five decades, Mr. Gentile has been a pioneering force in the information technology sector, with foundational roles at NASA and Burroughs Corporation. As an early advocate of UNIX-based systems for enterprise solutions, he has successfully established and grown multiple IT companies. His deep expertise in delivering technology solutions to automotive suppliers, combined with his leadership in the development of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) standards, positions him uniquely to drive the IT strategy at Deshler Group.

A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Mr. Gentile pursued his academic studies at Lawrence Technological University and the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He resides in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
