What we’re monitoring: Canada’s two major railroads paused operations yesterday. While operations have now re-started, Deshler logistics partner, GTM USA, will continue to keep watch as negotiations continue.
If the stoppage resumes, severe delays for U.S.-based customers may be possible, with anticipated effects on manufacturing, automotive and retailers. We are developing alternative methods and routes, depending on the length and seriousness of what may transpire in the coming weeks.
